Wrapped construction sites and greenhouses provide a film or a lens that marries and condenses the space between the layers of the image. Like the cubists and abstract expressionists, I wanted to bring most of the image, the light and pattern, right up onto the surface of the print and condense the depth in the print. Then, the image ought to be printed large enough to create an environment that embraces the viewer, destroying aesthetic distance and the proscenium arch. The viewer ought to feel him/her self in the image, rather than looking at it.
